Watermarked 2D previews versus original wrap downloads

The image displayed in the gallery is a browsing derivative, not the downloadable artwork file. Understanding the difference prevents accidental imports of low-resolution previews.

Why the gallery uses flat previews

A list may show many designs at once. We create smaller WebP images with visible watermarks to show the artwork layout without loading every full original or a 3D model.

Why an image may take longer the first time

If a design has no generated 2D preview yet, the server creates and saves one before displaying it. Existing previews are reused. If generation or retrieval fails, the page may show a placeholder; it does not fall back to an unwatermarked original.

What the download provides

The detail-page download checks the account's access and artwork price, then supplies the original PNG without our added preview watermark. A signature or lettering included by the creator remains part of the original design. No added preview watermark is not a promise that every artwork is free of creator marks.

Three shortcuts to avoid

• Taking a screenshot of the gallery card.
• Saving the displayed preview image.
• Changing a WebP filename to end in PNG.

None of these restores the original resolution, transparency or file encoding. Use the download action and inspect the resulting file before import.

Browsing, downloading and redistribution are different

Being able to view artwork does not establish download access. Downloading does not automatically grant resale or redistribution rights either. Read the artwork description and site terms, and ask the creator about an unclear use.
